House Season 6 Preview

New season of House in a couple weeks...i'm pumped!

I'm still alive...

So I haven't blogged in awhile...sorry to anyone who actually reads my blog and cares. It's been an awesome summer, I went to Michigan with some student from Fox Valley for CIY Move - which was awesome! Then I went to Maine with Sarah and her family, where I got engaged!!! (we have a wedding blog that Sarah made that you can check out here) Needless to say, it was an awesome vacation!

I'm back at school now...which kinda stinks cause now Sarah is 6 hours away...but I'm excited to get that much closer to graduating (fall 2010)...and getting back to work at Fox Valley.

Titletown 2009??

So the Steelers (of course) won the Superbowl this year, and the Penguins just won the Stanley Cup. That means the pressure is on for the Pirates! Most people think I'm crazy for even thinking that the Pirates have a shot of winning it all this year...and maybe I am...but I'm not counting them out yet. Right now, their record is 30-33, but they are only 4 games back in the NL Central. And the team is actually looking really good right now...the starting pitching and offense is finally good and able to contend.

Maybe I'm an idiot saying the Pirates can win the world series this year since they haven't even had a winning record since 1992, but crazier things have happened. Pittsburgh sports teams are just that good. Deal with it!

New Laptop

If you've read my blog before, you'll know that my laptop broke. Well, I finally ordered a new one. I debated for awhile between a Mac or a Dell and had pretty much decided on a Mac. But I ended up buying a Dell Studio 17inch ...on woot.com (thanks Jim). They had a sweet deal on a Dell laptop on there that I couldn't pass up. It's a beast of a laptop and was only 500 bucks! It's not exactly what I wanted, and is kinda huge, but it'll get the job done...and it was about $1500-2000 less than I was planning on spending...awesomeness

Jars live on Air1

This is a Jars of Clay video from when they performed live on Air1. I think it's pretty sweet. It made me think that Jars should release some kind of acoustic/b-side cd...cause that would be awesome! Check it out...

My laptop broke

My laptop broke. The screen basically fell off because the left hinge broke, which caused the metal frame that the hinge was screwed into to snap off...then that caused the right hinge to snap off of the metal frame as well. Right now, a couple small wires are the only thing holding my screen in place. It's kinda a bummer.

I'm afraid to ask, but I'm gonna anyhow...I can't decide between a PC and a Mac for my replacement. I've always been a PC guy, but everyone tells me I should get a Mac...I'm not sold yet though. I can get a much more powerful PC for less money than a Mac...

So why should I get a Mac??
